Jaishankar, Rubio to hold talks in Mumbai on October 20

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will hold talks in Mumbai on October 20, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Friday.

The discussions are expected to cover key areas of bilateral cooperation, including energy, trade and investment, defence, and critical and emerging technologies, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told reporters during a briefing.

The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts by India and the United States to strengthen cooperation across key strategic and economic sectors.
